i am trying to think of how to condense this-
i had severe pain under my right upper ribcage. after the 3rd attack and i ended up doubled up my husband took me to the medical center--dx was gallbladder attacks--set up for ultrasound/visit with surgeon (who doesnt believe in fibro--but we agreed to disagree and i do trust him) another test with radioactive injection--no gallbladder/liver function problems. still having pain--referred to gastroenterologist--upper Gi--nothing(except totally sick for 3 days after and still have the stupid pain!) lots of bloodwork--still nothing and scheduled for barium enema in one week--what fun!i am totally wiped out and tired of this--and still dont know whats going on.
does fibro cause your internal organs to swell??? thats what it feels like when its happening.and is there a possiblity that even after these tests it could somehow STILL be the gallbladder problem????
i know this is long but i am at the stage i am just worn out and dont know how much further to go with this gastro doc and his tests.
any input would help me deal with this thanks!!
