: : Has anyone had a positive experience with human growth hormone (HGH)? It's been excellent for me. My energy ad greatly improved and I'm not getting sick all the time like I had been. I would like to hear both positive and negative reactions from you.

: I just started taking a more potent form of growth hormone that also contains IGF-1 and IGF-2. My pain level has decreased a bit. I'll keep you informed of any other positive or negative changes.

Hi to everyone! I have enjoyed reading all the posts. I am an RN who has had fibro and hypothyroidism for several years and am currently taking Elavil 50mg qHS, Cytomel .25mgs & Levoxyl .1mg qAM. I have been researching treatments for fibro and have found some interesting info on thyroid resistance as well as the GH deficiency. My questions are: Were you diagnosed with a GH deficiency (as well as having fibro) and then treated for deficiency? or Is the GH treatment only for the fibro without a documented deficiency? If it was a deficiency what tests were done to diagnose it?
I have quite a bit of info and documentation on the thyriod resistance but have not found very much on the GH deficiency. I did read the link that was given through here and will print it out for my MD. Are there any other articles or studies on GH deficiency & fibro that I can read and take to my MD? My MD is wonderful and is open to new treatments as long as there is reasonable & reliable medical documentation. I am going to discuss both of these with him at my next appt. So any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Lynn
