I have fibromyalgia, and I find that periodically, I get the same type of pain. It's like my abdomen is swollen high up on the right side. It's quite uncomfortable. Have they checked your gallbladder? Doctors can be so difficult to deal with because unless you have a tumor the size of Texas, they can never find anything! I have found that cleaning my liver and gallbladder takes the pain completely away. It's an easy, yet not too pleasant process that works overnight. You eat a non-fat diet for breakfast and lunch. You don't eat anything after 2 p.m. At 6 p.m., you take a dose of Epsom salts according to the directions on the package. You do the same thing at 8 p.m. (The Epsom salts are disgusting!)And... yes, stay close to the toilet, as you will be there often. The point is to clean out your system so the liver formula can get to your gallbladder and liver. At 10 p.m., you mix 1/2 cup of virgin olive oil (it must be "virgin") and 1 cup of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice. (Yes, it must be freshly squeezed and pink!)Swallow 4 500 mg capsules of ornithine (an amino acid you can find at the health food store) with the mixture. Lay down in bed immediately on your right side. At 6 a.m., get up and immediately drink another dose of epsom salts. I know, this is so disgusting... soon, you will see what looks like wheat bran floating on the top of the toilet water, next you should see pea to marble size green balls floating in the water. Take the epsom salts again at 8 a.m. Drink plenty of water until noon, letting your body continue to flush out. what you have just done is to flush the stones out of your gallbladder and liver. These stones can cause a feeling of distention and pain in the area you describe. A doctor will not see it as a problem until your gallbladder is full of gangrene and has to be removed! Once your gallbladder and liver are clear of these stones (which are actually balls of cholesterol), your pain should start to go away. It takes about a week for the pain to disappear all together because your body is irritated from the buidlup of stones in your body. This procedure also helps to rid your body of toxins, since your liver will start to work much more efficiently once it is clean. I know it sounds crazy, but it works. When my fibromyalgia is really bad, I use this liver cleanse, and my pain is cut in half once again. I do this cleanse every six months. I don't take any regular pain medications for my FM because when the pain gets bad, I just do the cleanse and the pain gets under control again! Hope it helps.. Diana
