I saw the 20/20 show, sent my MRI to Dr. Heffez in Chicago and just got my report this past week 10/17/2000 after months of waiting. I was told that I do NOT have Chairi but I do have Cervical Spinal Stenosis and they want me to go to Chicago for 2 days of testing to determine if surgery would help. I have been sick for 4 years now and I have tried nearly everything - so I am open to possible surgery.

: I did not have the surgery only have heard info about it. I was given a MRI looking for evidence of malformation but I was told My Chiari was normal. Some of us have had FMS for a long time (14 years for me) I have sought alot of different means of improving my life reguarding FMS. As of yet I still suffer from it. I know there are alot of people that would jump on the band wagon to reap the $$$. But please do not discredit what has worked for some.
