My doctor referred me to a rheumatologist who prescribed 200 mg. once daily of celebrex and between 10 - 20 mg. per night of amitryptoline to assist in reaching the level 4 (rem) sleep needed to help sore muscles relax overnight. this regime has worked well. Good luck.
: : I am interested in treatments that others are receiving for their FMS. My doctor is reluctant to adequately treat my pain and fatigue due to addiction concerns. While I understand his concern, my quality of life is drastically diminished. He(my Dr.) considers FMS to be a sleep disorder, but from the info I have acquired it seems to be a pain or neuro disorder. Am I right?....or is he? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!
