Veronica, hi. Sorry to say there is no surgery available to cure fibro or cfs. Veronica, know this, fibro is systemic, that means that the disease spreads from one system to another in our bodies. So you must consult with your doctors on whether the pain and agony is fibro or you have something else going on. Dr. Alpert is an expert on pinpointing fibro, check with him first. Last year I was sent to the hospital emergency twice for gallbadder pain, it was so severe that I was prepared for emergency surgery. After tests, my gallbladder was fine and I had no stones. I went to see Dr. Alpert straight from the hospital and he told me it was fibro and explained the systemic part of it and I cried my heart out both for the pain and for knowing that the fibro could move into other parts of my body and mimic the real thing and give me unbearable pain. Again I say, you are lucky you have found Dr. Alpert. Consult him as needed and you will be willingly helped. God bless you and I will pray for you.
